Become a steward of your own healthy food source.  This workshop will include a comprehensive lecture covering poultry-raising topics such as breed selection, chick sourcing, brooding, housing, and optimizing feed for a thriving flock.  To ensure the well-being of the birds, participants will gain insights into predator protection strategies and ways to troubleshoot common health issues.  The workshop will cover processing and post-processing techniques to safely and humanely harvest meat birds. 

The session will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A.
